Priceless

Acts 20:24, NLT: “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus – the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God”.

Three years ago a young woman did not trust God…at all. She believed He existed and believed in Him, she just doubted His ability to be the god He said He was in her life. So she pretty much disobeyed and flew off on her own at every opportunity she got. But God did something amazing. He got her all to Himself and showed her with a series of hardships, failures, near-disasters and a barely missed natural disaster that He was who He said He was. He also proved that she was alive because – and only because – He loved her and had a plan for her life.

Today, this same woman usually can’t make a turn without wondering what God would have to say about what she’s about to do. She still gets it wrong sometimes. But she cannot turn from God. She knows now that her life means nothing unless she uses it for God’s glory.

Money is money. Riches and the “right” connections mean a lot to certain people. But a life sold out for God, regardless of imperfection and mistakes – that’s priceless.

  1. Great post Afi! Most of us can relate. We do not have connections or money. All we have is Jesus.

What do you think?
